This AI Policy explains how Futurely AI features work, key limitations, and acceptable use requirements.

1. What Futurely AI does

Futurely uses AI-assisted features to generate responses and personalized experiences based on user inputs and related context. AI-powered features include tarot readings and chat, daily reflections, the Manifest Today daily ritual (daily intentions, affirmations, and action items), your onboarding letter from your future self, starter vision boards, group reading insights, birth chart readings, Energy Match compatibility insights, and Life Cycles insights.

This context may include your profile and birth information, your vision board content, your AI memory (if enabled), and, when you add or accept friends, birth information and related astrology profile details shared through those friend connections.

Futurely may also use AI to analyze images you add to vision boards, generating short text captions and tags that personalize features such as Manifest Today. Futurely does not use AI to generate images; all vision board images are provided by you.

2. Third-party AI providers

Futurely uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, through Ubeni-managed backend systems. Your prompts, messages, and related context may be processed by these providers to generate output.

3. AI output limitations

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, offensive, or unsuitable. You are responsible for evaluating and verifying output before relying on it.

4. No professional advice

Futurely AI is not medical, legal, financial, tax, mental health, safety, emergency, or other professional advice.

5. User responsibility

You are responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes when using AI-generated content from Futurely.

6. Prohibited AI uses

You may not use Futurely AI for:

  • Illegal activity.
  • Harassment, abuse, or threats.
  • Sexual exploitation or child safety violations.
  • Encouraging self-harm or violence.
  • Fraud, scams, spam, or impersonation.
  • Privacy invasion or doxxing.
  • Generating harmful code or evading security systems.
  • Regulated professional decisions without proper human review.
  • Violating OpenAI or other provider policies.

7. Sensitive personal information warning

Do not submit sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable with third-party processing as described in our Privacy Policy. If you add or accept friends, Futurely AI features may use shared friend birth information and related astrology profile details to generate compatibility, reading, relationship, or conversational insights. AI output is intended to use information shared through the app's friend features and should not be treated as revealing verified facts beyond that context.

8. Emergency warning

Do not use Futurely AI in emergencies. If there is immediate risk of harm, contact emergency services right away (for example, call 911 in the United States).

9. Moderation and safety

We use automated moderation checks (including third-party moderation models) on user-generated text such as reading questions, vision board comments, and group reading comments, together with prompt-level safety guardrails on AI reading features and human review workflows for content flagged as sensitive or potentially unsafe. We may restrict or remove content and accounts to enforce safety and policy requirements.

When you share AI-assisted content through social features (for example, a public vision board, a shared reading, or a group reading), you are responsible for that content and it is subject to our Community Guidelines. You can report objectionable content or block users from within the app, and we act on credible reports within 24 hours.

10. AI memory

If you enable AI memory, Futurely may retain and use summarized context from your activity to personalize AI features over time. You can turn AI memory on or off in the app at any time.

11. Usage limits and availability

AI features may be subject to usage limits, request limits, rate limits, throttling, cache behavior, temporary unavailability, or other operational controls. These controls help protect reliability, security, abuse prevention, and reasonable operating costs. Subscription access does not guarantee unlimited AI generation.

12. Data processing summary

To provide AI features, Futurely may process prompts/messages, profile context, memory settings and AI memory content, friend connection context, shared birth information, vision board content, and feature inputs (including image data for captioning where relevant). Some operational records may be retained for limited periods to run and protect the service.

13. Reporting harmful or inaccurate output

If you receive harmful, unsafe, or clearly inaccurate output, contact support@futurelyapp.com.

14. Policy updates

We may update this AI Policy from time to time. Updated versions are effective when posted with a revised effective date.
