Futurely includes social features that let you connect with friends, share readings, post public vision boards, and comment on other people's vision boards. These Community Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed when you create, share, or interact with content involving other people. They are part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using Futurely's social features, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Where these guidelines apply
These guidelines apply to all user-generated content and interactions, including:
- Friend connections and shared readings.
- Public vision boards shown in Explore and the visions, titles, descriptions, and images they contain.
- Comments you post on vision boards.
- Group readings and any names, questions, or text you contribute to them.
- Display names, profile photos, and other profile details visible to others.
2. Content and conduct that is not allowed
You may not post, share, upload, or transmit content, or behave in ways, that:
- Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or target another person.
- Contain hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Are sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualize minors in any way.
- Depict, promote, or encourage violence, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities.
- Promote or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, scams, or the sale of regulated or illegal goods.
- Are spam, deceptive, or repetitive unsolicited content.
- Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Share another person's private or identifying information without their permission, including submitting someone else's birth information without a lawful basis.
- Contain malware, exploit security vulnerabilities, or attempt to disrupt the Services.
3. Be responsible with other people's information
Futurely's social features can involve sensitive details such as birth information and astrology profiles. Only add or accept friends, share readings, or post boards if you are comfortable with the people who can see them. If you include another person's information, you confirm you have their permission or another lawful basis to do so.
4. Reporting objectionable content and users
Every place where user-generated content appears includes a way to report it. You can:
- Report content or a user from the menu on a friend profile, a vision board, a comment, a shared reading, or a group reading. Choose the reason that best fits (spam, harassment, hate speech, nudity, violence, or something else).
- Contact us directly at support@futurelyapp.com for anything that needs urgent attention.
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on credible reports within 24 hours, which may include removing content, warning, suspending, or permanently banning the responsible account.
5. Blocking abusive users
You can block any user from their profile or from any of their content. When you block someone:
- Their content (vision boards, comments, shared readings, and group readings) is hidden from you.
- They are removed from your friends circle and cannot send you new content or friend requests.
- You can review and unblock people anytime under Settings → Blocked Users.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, restrict, remove, or disable content or accounts to enforce these guidelines and our Terms of Service. Depending on the severity and history of violations, enforcement may include content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account. We may also remove content automatically when it is flagged as objectionable or unsafe.
We may preserve and share information with law enforcement where we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with the law or to protect the safety of any person.
7. Changes to these guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Futurely's social features after an update means you accept the updated guidelines.
